Deputy Shot After Using ‘Less Than Lethal’ Tactics
http://lawofficer.com/news/officer-down/...l-tactics/
Quote:The incident occurred just after 10:30 p.m. when Bulverde police and Comal County deputies responded to the Bulverde Hills Subdivision for a suicidal subject with a gun.
Upon arrival, authorities found a man in the street holding a handgun and they attempted to talk to him for several minutes. At one point, the suspect began to walk toward the officers and they took cover while attempting to talk to him.
Ken 5 reports that authorities said that ‘less than lethal tactics’ were deployed and it did not work. The suspect then raised the gun and fired several shots striking one of the deputies.
Authorities returned fire, striking the suspect several times.

A shame. If a person wants to commit suicide by police, while sad, you can't put the officer's safety at risk. I am sure the police haters here will disagree.

You couldn't pay me enough to be a cop these days and I am one that always thought it would be a fun job.
You use lethal force and SJW and leftists string you up but if you don't some thug kills you.
Before long our police will be as screwed up as our teachers.
