CNN analysts right now are damn quick to talk about this being a hate crime attack on Muslims....which may, and likely is, be true...but why are they so slow to call terrorism when it happens?

And it begins...

I'm not seeing the word hate crime in the online CNN story I am reading but I'm not listening to their broadcast either.

It's almost certainly a retaliatory crime on Muslims in London. Most stories seem to be fairly recapping how many terrorist incidents have been in London or the UK in the last few months. I don't think it's bad reporting at all to mention those incidents and speculate this is a retaliatory crime. A van drove over people leaving a fairly military Mosque in London at like 12:20 in the morning? I'm not sure what other conclusions you can make.

Well that's an interesting thing to note.

Such crimes are deplorable, regardless of the politics that influence them. Prayers for the families affected by senseless violence.

Whoever it is, treat them just like any other terrorist.

I fear this guy just just caused more attacks.

It is three guys. One arrested, and the other two fled. People who do these types of things are terrorists. The guy who shot at the Republicans the other day is a terrorist. No ifs, ands and buts about it. Any hate crimes that targets a certain type of group for political and Religious issues should be called a terrorist.
