Losing all that weight is a huge game changer. Hopefully, it translates to performance on the court.

I agree,

If he can be Nick Marshall I will be happy.

However I feel about Tubby, IF Nick Marshall would have been around, most of us might be thinking a lot differently about him. I thought Marshall showed flashes and was going to turn into a really good player as quickly as his sophomore year.

Bad luck on Tubby's part, but then again, I heard that Tubby didn't make much of an effort to keep him. I know it would have been a longshot and Marshall had a bunch of stuff going on, but a lot of other coaches make it work.

I thought Marshall was way over rated. The guy couldn't run the court for 2 minutes without dragging ###. It takes a large amount of self motivation to be a good D1 player and he just didn't have it.
