You all have to accept the cold hard reality. 50 is still low. The worst President (barely inching out Carter) in my life was posting better numbers.
Why does it matter now? Really, who cares? When is the next election? 18 months? I remember Hillary Clinton had a 14 point lead two weeks before the election.

It doesn't. But if his toadies are going to keep posting his numbers and claiming they're good numbers, they should be corrected. I keep saying I don't know why they're the ones posting them. Should be the left poking with those numbers like a sharp stick.

In a bear market you don't take a 4 or 5 day upswing and claim we're in a bull market. Trumps in a bear. It's incorrect to start one of these threads every couple of weeks on every small uptick.

You don't have to point out their mistake to them and in fact can ignore it and misdirect your "who cares" to me. They care. And Trump tweeted this morning that he cares. So go find his feed and reply.

Agree. Not sure why either side posts the numbers. They are irrelevant.

Yep. Normally right up until before an election. Seems they don't mean much even on election day anymore.

They don't. A lot of people, myself included (and you?), voted for him even though they disapprove of him. Believe it or not, his approval numbers are better now than on election day.

Just puttin' the info out there because... it's out there.

This morning's Trump tweet:

Quote:“The new Rasmussen Poll, one of the most accurate in the 2016 election, just out with a Trump 50 per cent approval rating. That’s higher than O’s #’s!”

He apparently doesn't follow me. Or even the Rasmussen site before using them as a source.

He really should hire someone to fact check his tweets before sending them out.

Wrong image. Obama's data points are from 2009...

But what are Obama's numbers now (not that it matters)? I honestly don't know, but nothing in that Tweet says 2009.

RE: Now, 50% approve. Movin' on up ! ! !
Why would he compare his job approval numbers to a private citizen?

Rasmussen doesn't track after leaving. Here's Obama's last numbers before leaving office:

17-Jan-17 Approval Index +12 Strongly Approve 41% Strongly Disapprove 29% Total Approve 62% Total Disapprove 38%
Trump again for comparison:
17-Jun-17 Approval Index -11 Strongly Approve 31% Strongly Disapprove 42% Total Approve 50% Total Disapprove 50%

He was doing either an apples to apples for the same time in their Presidencies or an apples to oranges of his current numbers to Obamas last poll. Either way he was wrong.

I just think maybe hold off on posting his numbers till they're good. I'll be happy to say they are when they are. Expect at some point in his 4 years (yes, maybe 8) they will be. Maybe not. Who knows, maybe there will be one of Alex Jones false flag events to catapult him. 03-wink

And he really, really, really needs to fact check before hitting the send button on twitter.

New poll reveals remarkable change in public’s view of the Trump presidency

Quote:According to Zogby Analytics, Trump’s approval rating beat Attorney General Jeff Sessions (35 percent); Congress (25 percent); House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who scored 29 percent; Paul Ryan (36 percent), and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), who earned an approval rating of 33 percent.

Quote:The only government official who scored higher than Trump in Zogby’s poll was Trump’s Secretary of Defense James Mattis, who scored an approval rating of 43 percent.

Proves the public is ignorant. Mattis should be polling 80 or better.
