Clemson Grad Transfer Korrin Wiggins chooses ECU over Maryland, Michigan and Oregon
The North Carolina native defensive back said, "Me and my family discussed my decision and decided that it's time for me to come home," Wiggins told TigerNet." I'm going to ECU to play my last year. It was hard to turn down those other schools, but the vision coach Mo has there is something I liked so I'm done with the process. I'm going to ECU." TigerNet.com

Wiggins has one year of eligibility and can play immediately.

Coach Mo seems to be a hit with grad transfers.

I thought Wiggins was a 3-star...when all of his ligaments were intact.

Good job, ECU!

Let's make American more competitive

I do know that ECU is a football school. But American also have a strong basketball league.

Wish ECU do the best! See you next season

Take what you get. Football, baseball and a damn good time. Basketball is not worth the talk...know who you are.

He was. Still a great offer list then and now.

Oh yeah! ECU is going to be a lot better than the 2-10 picks by some on here. I predicted 6-6 and I'm sticking to it.

He with the Auburn transfer Irvin in the secondary. Might not be our usual weakness.

Wiggins, Irvin, Fulp, Seargent, Phillips, Gore... that's the best secondary we've had in a decade. Maybe the best in 2 decades.

ECU with the add of Tank Robinson and many others will have the best defensive backfield ever in my 35 years of following Pirate football. We've also added three transfers to our rotation in the defensive front which we had good talent already. If the linebackers come through and they are experienced we will have the best defense at ECU I've seen since the 96 team. Believe me they were pretty good. We have gotten much better in the offseason and being underestimated by many in my opinion. Go Pirates!!!!

Nothing to see here. ECU will win 2.5 games. Everyone please look ahead to the next game on your schedule. That is all.

Mo knows he has 4 years to turn this mess around and seems to be doing what is necessary to make that happen. Im hoping his freshman recruiting is as strong as his grad student recruiting and we can redshirt a bunch of them this season due to this added experience.

Wiggins should be a good one for you. He was good enough to be considered the frontrunner to start at Nickleback in '14 but suffered a knee injury and was out that season. During the rehab he just got passed up by younger talent.

We will need it:
Will Grier @ WVU
Kyle Allen @ Houston
Tyler Mangum @ BYU
Riley Ferguson @ Memphis
Flowers @ USF

That's some damn good QB's this secondary will face.

Sorry, not good enough. ECU still needs to step it up in basketball.

However, congrats on the grad transfer. I wouldn't sleep on ECU this year. 8-9 wins is very do-able.

Let's focus on getting sports back on track. Then we can worry about the marching band, basketball, etc.
