What a difference it makes having a coach who actually, you know... coaches, as opposed to delegating. He looks/sounds very confident in his new role as a head coach.

Kinda surprised no one has complained about the boys wearing the white helmets.

It is nice to see some hands on intense teaching and instructing from the HC instead of pacing, humming, daydreaming and meandering.

Almost couldn't pick out the HC...kept looking for him in a golf cart on the sideline under an umbrella laughing and chatting with other old guys.

White helmets are smart for camp/practice as it cuts down on the heat.

For games they need to stick to red or black.

I agree about the white, but thought it was smart for that Purdue opener a few years ago where it was about 105 (probably 125 on the field).
