If Idaho's RBs really are near the top of the conference we're going to be impossible to stop. They have our WRs rated low but I'm not worried -- coaching WRs is Petrino's greatest strength and Linehan has spread it around his whole career. We've got guys to step up there even though a lot of them don't have a long track record yet.

OL needs to gel though. 3 new guys there. Glad our first game is Sac St.

It seems that every year there are so many questions about us that nobody is willing to put us at the top in any category. I do think everyone agrees Ja'Von Roland Jones will continue to be a terror at the DE and I see they give Blake Mack a deserving nod. I was hoping that kind of thinking would go away with the stability of keeping a head coach for a few years but that doesn't seem to be the case. Oh well. I guess we just play the games and see how it works out.

This gives APP the only sweep of the "Top of the Food Chain" for all 4 offensive position breakdowns. Just hope the boys live up to all the hype. Will be special if they do.

Troy may not be "Top of the Food Chain" for offensive line right now, but that's to be expected when you lose a 3rd Round Draft Pick at tackle. We have what might be the best OL coach in the country so I'm not really all that worried about what we'll look like mid or late season. I just hope we can have something ready for Boise.

I honestly hope with all my heart that Troy takes care of business against Boise and App takes care of business against one of Georgia and Wake. A rising tide raises all ships.
