Wasn't Oral Bob going to jump off the roof of the tallest tower if a certain amount of money wasn't delivered to him by midnight on Christmas Eve? Jesus had threatened to punish the world by snatching ol' Bob off this earth if somebody didn't step up and make it rain. You cannot make this **** up.

That did happen. Oral Bob was going to be taken by Jesus unless people sent him (Oral Bob - not Jesus) $100.
I attended an event in Tulsa at the time that was happening. Someone was selling t'shirts that said "Lord, please take him now. I don't have $100." they sold out - FAST!
But, back to the topic. Tulsa will be a natural, but with the level of Tulsa's program, their attendance, and the way WSU fans travel, that's going to be another home game for the Shox. WSU fans may outnumber Tulsa fans in Tulsa.
SMU is not likely to be a WSU rival. Something about that illinois State connection and the KU connection. Jankovich is a KU guy, Brown was a KU guy. Jankovich scheduled crap for OOC games when he was at Illinois State. That got him gaudy W/L numbers, but hurt the conference. When he changed schools he took a player (Nic Moore) with him. WSU fans are likely to dislike SMU, but not in a way that develops a rivalry. Nothing against the school, just the coaching.
Cincy seems to be a potential rival for WSU. The distance makes it hard to develop a rivalry, but I think both schools have the potential to be top-20 or better teams every year. That makes for rivalries. UConn should be able to get back into that area as well, but distance is too great for that to be a rivalry game.
There are a lot of WSU fans in my age range and we remember when Cincy was in the MVC and played in Wichita. That gives starting a rivalry a jump start. Throw in that WSU and Cincy are likely to split the h/h series this year in some hotly contested games and the young guns will be able to find the bandwagon. This series could develop into something.
