Congratulations to junior Megan Rome, who ran a personal best 33:06.03
in the finals of the NCAA Championship 10000 meter final last night. By
finishing in the top six in the country she gains first-team All-American
recognition, her fourth during her Tribe career. Megan beat her own best personal time by thirty seconds.

She goes for the double on Saturday night in the 5000 meter championship final.

Just a junior, Megan will return next year and will rank among the nation's best.

I watched this race. She was in the top group until the last few laps. Two English runners and a Kenyan pulled away.
