Green Wave Edition

Although they probably don’t need it, the Cards get a relative breather Saturday when they head to New Orleans to face the Green Wave of Tulane. After playing against conference heavies Cincinnati and Marquette, overcoming a 17-point deficit to surprise the Bearcats and beating up the beat-up Eagles by 45, it would seem that very few teams could run with Rick Pitino’s Cards right now. A win over Tennessee, in which Louisville used a 35-5 run in the second half to make a laugher of an otherwise tight contest, confirms that these Cardinals are taking flight.

Just don’t tell Coach Pitino.
