Qualifying game tonight against T&T.

I can only hope we have figured it out. Our midfield is the weakest it's been in a long time. Claudio Reyna and Cobi Jones aren't walking through that door.

I don't want to sound like Trump, but I think we have to many foreign players taking up skill positions in the MLS. I don't know how to fix that, but it's just much easier to buy a 28 year old professional than give a 22 year old a shot.

Anyway, This game is a must win.

Playing Bradley at defense mid is an awful idea. It just doesn't work. He needs the ball to go through him. I feel we have a Lampard and Gerrard type situation here.

We need a Claude Makelele type badly, especially against Mexico. They are so good on the wings now. We have to have someone who can cover the ground.

Were damn lucky to be tied at half. Finally broke through in second half and still lucky not a tie game. They missed a perfect set up for header and Howard lost positioning. Then second half the guy was maybe a half of a shoulder blade offside.

Too much looking past to Sunday. But we got our three points and an 2 goal win. It is a different team than what lost to Mexico early 2-1 but are at Mexico this game. Would kill for a tie.. 4 points from this block of game would be considered a win. Then try to make hay in the next block in Sept.

I know it is dangerous in some parts of Mexico. But isn't an elbow to the head a yellow card down that way? Twice in first 12 minute a blatant elbow to the head of US player.

Arena had the right game plan. We had to drop everyone back behind the ball. MB had one of the best goals I have seen in a long time.

Before this game i would have been happy with a single point at Azteca. But those non calls on the forearms to the head of the US players piss me off. Should have been playing 11-10 since the 3rd minute if official wasn't blind. CLEARLY A RED CARD

Agree. That guy should be suspended for a couple games at least. If he doesn't, man.
