Trump to nominate Christopher Wray to be FBI director
Quote:President Trump on Wednesday said he intends to nominate former assistant attorney general Christopher Wray to be the next FBI director.

Wray, currently a litigation partner at King & Spalding, would replace Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who took over when James Comey was fired by Trump in May.

“I will be nominating Christopher A. Wray, a man of impeccable credentials, to be the new Director of the FBI. Details to follow,” Trump tweeted.

Yea, a middle level nobody, who ran investigations that never got a Trump supporter (Christie), to run the FBI?

LOL.

Report out today is that Trump asked the nations top intelligence official to quash (interfere) with the Flynn investigation.

Keep digging.

Whether or not Trump tried to end this dog and pony show and the political affiliation of the intelligence official is irrelevant.

Funny...trump tweeted this decision out a couple hours ago and believe that the white house still hasn't released any official statements on it.

What a complete clown show this administration is.

By any rational assessment...it's not even close. trump can't even get people sent to congress for approval to fill needed government positions. trump tweets out a policy and then they scramble to come up with a policy...he also undercuts his cabinet members on nearly every public position they take.

Take the partisan blinders off dude...it's not even a contest!

NBC says Coats told someone who told someone who told...an NBC reporter. Right. You don't remember that kids game where something gets whispered around the room?

Do they need to? Why? Just because that's the way it was done does not mean it is the correct or only way.

Doesn't the White House just have to submit the name to the appropriate Congressional review committees for hearings and a consent vote?
