Interleague play
I hate it. The American League doesn't play real baseball, but interleague games count in the standings and some of the rivalries are good.
Could interleague games be coming to the P4?
Would the ACC and SEC in a cooperative effort count the Clemson v. South Carolina game in the conference standings for both leagues? Florida State v. Florida, Oklahoma v. Texas, Louisville v. Kentucky are all interleague opportunities.
When we move to all P4 regular seasons, it may come to pass.

Only if a conference wants to use the overall wins vs losses over the conference one, which doesn't make sense. That would also discourage playing tougher non conference teams which would lower the rpi of the entire conference.

Probably not the wisest move.
