Yes, P6 is indeed sad.

Houston AD has bought into the P6 mantra.

Last paragraph in today's press release announcing upcoming series with Washington State and North Texas:

The addition of Monday’s series leaves Houston with one only non-conference spot to fill in each of the 2019, 2020 and 2023 seasons as Houston continues to follow its non-conference scheduling model of two Power Six opponents in the non-conference schedule of each year.

Memphis Pres. and AD have used it as well. One of the areas I've been curious about is recruiting. I've seen it once on twitter with a player including AAC schools as power offers in his bio.
