One state representative has introduced a bill to cut off Evergreen's funding. The professor has already been cut off from the faculty directory.

More than 50 faculty members at Evergreen State College are calling on the administration to punish a professor who refused to participate in a no-whites day on campus.
In a public letter released June 2, the faculty accused biology professor Bret Weinstein of endangering members of the Evergreen community by speaking out against student protesters who have taken over the Olympia, Washington, campus.
“Demonstrate accountability by pursuing a disciplinary investigation against Bret Weinstein according to guidelines in the Social Contract and Faculty Handbook,” the letter read. “Weinstein has endangered faculty, staff, and students, making them targets of white supremacist backlash by promulgating misinformation in public emails, on national television, in news outlets, and on social media.”

She said the closure was precautionary to give law enforcement time to review information from the weekend and that the school has been told there is no active threat.

Student protests about race boiled over in late May, attracting national attention, when video of students of color shouting at a professor, the college president and other school officials went viral.

Student protesters were upset about racism on campus and said on social media that police had responded too aggressively to their peaceful demonstration. But the protests quickly became a symbol nationally for people who saw them as further evidence that college campuses have been overtaken by liberal extremists unwilling to listen to opposing viewpoints.

Wonder how long (if EVER) it will be before more of these leftie academics realize that the monster they helped create may soon turn on them? Weinstein probably sees it now. They have created an uneducated mob that thoughtlessly demands things and carelessly throws accusation of racism, bigotry and worse. Facts don't matter to them, even if they had them. Only revisionist history even remotely crosses their minds.

How crazy is it that BLM is now advocating for segregation, something their parents and grandparents fought against and won.

Ignorance and a mob is a dangerous combination. How soon before somebody gets killed and the right and Trump will get blamed?

If you read the students interviews after Middlebury you could see the dangerous mob mentality. There was one girl who was planning on asking tough questions decided she couldn't be polite because she would be turning on her classmates. It was scary. They had no clue. Very 3rd Reichish.

Frank Bruni of the NYT actually did an editorial decrying the campus inquisitions. A few are starting to figure it out. Not many.
