Of course, none of this is necessarily economically feasible, but experts are predicting nearly all jobs will be done better by artificial intelligence by 2061.

You need to be an owner, and not a wage slave.

RE: 45 years to AI jobageddon?
Humans do have to set up the systems. Given my experience with Dell a few weeks ago....

My credit card number changed for an autorenewal, so I tried to change it on their system based on where their renewal notice told me to go. Couldn't find where to change it. This is Dell, who killed retail computer stores. So I sent an e-mail. They came back in a day with another e-mail and phone. I called on the phone. The thick accented Indian couldn't help me and sent me to a different number. At that number, the even thicker accented Indian dialed a phone system where I was to enter the number. The line had a lot of static and after 3 tries of hanging up on that line and trying again, he tried to enter the number. He couldn't get it to read even the first few digits of the number. So he said someone would call back. Of course, they didn't so I tried the other e-mail. No response. I tried to renew fresh directly from the software company, but their system kept refusing. Finally, a week or so past expiration I went back to the Dell site and the link to change the credit card existed this time. It hadn't been there before.

So we are to trust AI systems to do brain surgery when they can't even handle changing a credit card number?

We are quickly headed to a different world. That's why people are talking about a Universal Basic Income. Automation will greatly reduce the workforce needed in just about every occupation. When full time jobs become part time. What will happen to the economies of the world. Should we now start having talks about what is considered full time employment? Should we lower the 40 hour a week standard now? Would this help stimulate employment growth or would stimulate automation growth? We really need to start having these conversations.
