President Donald Trump’s decision to leave the Paris climate agreement has made the U.S. a “rogue state,” the United Nations’ former envoy on climate change warns.

With its departure from the agreement, the U.S. joins Nicaragua and war-torn Syria, which is considered a “rogue state” by the U.S., as the only nations to opt out the climate pledge. (Nicaragua objected to the accord because the country believed it did not go far enough to combat rising global temperatures.)

Let's look at what the agreement really provides. We're all going to set our own goals, with no penalties for not reaching them. The US is set for the largest reduction, and is the only one of the four largest emitters (US, China, Russia, India) that is committed to any reduction. Then we're going to circle up and sing Kumbaya, and magically the rise in global temperatures is going to be only 1.5 degrees Celsius instead of 2 degrees over the next 100 years. And the US is going to write trillions in checks to pay off developing countries (most of which will probably end up in the Swiss bank accounts of such developing countries' ruling elites).

Basically it's the Iran deal all over again. Kerry and Obama bribed the rest of the world to get a meaningless piece of paper so they can feel good.

The Paris accord did the following:

1. Allowed grievous offenders such as China & India to completely skate on carbon reductions

2. Encouraged smaller countries to pollute in order to catch up to the US, China, and India

3. Made the US pay the bulk of funding

4. Opened the US up to constant lawsuits since we were a part of the accord and others didnt feel we were living up to our monetary requirements or carbon reductions

5. Allow larger corporations who moved manufacturing overseas, such as Apple & GE, to face reduced competition from US manufacturing companies, as the larger companies could pollute at will in China, and the US companies would be placed under severe restrictions.

That is the Paris accord. Climate change and carbon reductions be damned.

If you want REAL change in carbon reductions, then demand anyone who is pushing this garbage to release their carbon footprint every month. Then stay on THEIR ass about reducing their carbon footprint to that of the average american. You would be floored to know that the people pushing this garbage are the most egregious offenders on the planet.

For example, in one of the newly released Hillary emails, she demanded her own private jet to fly to a state funeral because she didnt want to ride in the other private jet with Michelle Obama. Hillary basically used up the equivalent of a single american citizen's average annual carbon footprint on a single trip because she didnt want to be in the same cabin as Michelle.
