Bulls fall apart in the twelve. Double errors allowed winning run to score from first. UF scores three more and wins 5-1 in 12

USF faces Bethune tomorrow in elimination game

Sundays match ups

USF vs Bethune at noon
Houston vs Iowa at 4

Both are elimination rounds, if the Bulls and Coogs win they'll face
Florida and Texas AM needing to beat them twice

They got it done during the regular season while you were wishing ECU to falter to even have a shot. STFU!

Yeah, that was a BAD PLAY!

USF has stranded too many base runners and should have won this if they don't.

The timing of it couldn't have been worse. This is why you have to close it out in 9.

Yep.

Our first baseman went from committing a bad play to a horrific game ender one. But yes we had our chances to put it away and couldn't do it.
Let's see how the team reacts mentally to this today. Last time something similar happened in AAC tournament vs ECU, they did not bounce back.
We used all our bullpen so starting pitchers will have to last at least 7 innings

According to Twitter and ncaa.com, you're losing 6-3. Are they wrong?

Bulls are eliminated 6-4

Very disappointing ending to a good season. This team does not bounce back well from tough losses. Hopefully this is a learning curve for those that return

Congrats on the very nice season. Playing good baseball, at the very least, makes the "offseason" that much shorter. Hard to believe football is only a dozen weeks away

Losing to an FCS team hurts, but it's kind of understandable in that the Florida game literally ended after midnight and the boys had to be back out there before noon today. It wasn't just a tough loss emotionally, it had to be very draining physically.

I understand the team went all out physically and mentally to win last night and that was a crushing loss to have to play less than 12 hours later.
Coach took the risk of starting pitchers with no experience, trying to save the starters for the second games and I'm fine with that the goal is to win the whole thing not just 1-2 games. But I think that as a coach you also need to take in where your team stands mentally and physically.
Oh well hope we can keep Coach Kingston, I've heard Bama is making a move for him.

Coogs actually winning against the Hawkeyes would be nice if we could blow them out just to rub it in these crappy espn announcers faces...

Score's probably not going to stay 4-3 so buckle up. The way the games have been going today this could be a wild one.
