Those lions at Legion Field were done by Moretti who designed Vulcan.

The only thing I want to save when that place is imploded.

No reason to save anything for us other than the memories of being forced to play in a stadium well past it's prime when we started playing in her. All other things are monuments to other universities/people

IF / WHEN the Legion Field stadium is demolished, perhaps a school that uses "LIONS" as their mascot would be interested in inheriting them.

BTW, it is the city venue and designer's history that they are attached to rather than a particular school. Perhaps they could be moved to the 20th street entrance to Linn Park?

As a UNA and UAB alum, I think this is a great idea.
