Congrats UMD Men's and Women's LAX National Champs! Terps Rock!

That is one heck of an achievement!

I read an article that this has only been done 3 times. The Terps this year, UNC last year and then Princeton in 1994.

Also, Maryland has swept the Tewaaraton Award (the Heisman equivalent for lacrosse). Maryland senior midfielder Zoe Stukenberg won for the women. While Maryland senior Matt Rambo won for the men. The award has only been around since 2001 but it is the first time a member of the Maryland mens team has won. As for the women, it isn't quite so new. It is the 8th time a member of the Maryland women's team has wont and 6th in a row.

This is one hell of a year for Maryland lacrosse.
