Sad day-Max Gerber passes
Long time SID Max Gerber died today at 88. He was SID ten years before I started running there to give you some idea. Went from 1960-88 and saw some great Rocket teams in that span. RIP Max!

Had the privilege of working for Max as a student assistant back in the 70's, learned a lot about professionalism and class from him.

Big loss for the Rocket community.

RE: Sad day-Max Gerber passes
Back in his day, Max was a one man office. He went from August through March with NO ONE helping. Almost 7 days a week and on every road trip. Unbelievable when you think of it. Truly a dedicated guy. RIP Max!01-ncaabbs[
