Nice to see Tulsa game under the lights on a Saturday night in the Glass Bowl.

I suspect EMU will be a day game because of HC. Akron might be a day game as well.

At first glance, we lose to Miami (FL), Tulsa game can go either way, and we beat everyone else. Result is that we play for the MAC championship. Of course, the way things calculate on paper seldom happen in the real world.

If we beat EVERYBODY else we'll win a major bowl game.

Tulsa-Miami: It's a tough two game stretch that could be dictated by injuries. I think both are within realm, no?

Those 7pm start times kill me. They really have data to show there's a Pacific TZ dying for Rocket Football- real-time on ESPN3? Are these where the recruits live that Coach says he's reaching with these games?

If they can do one game at 6pm, why not all? It got old paying to see nothing, having to watch end of games on ESPN3 the next day anyhow, so why bother with season tickets anymore?

I wonder why the NIU game is at 6pm on a weekday, less time for tailgating...but better than an 8pm kickoff!

According to the Bleacher Report, Toledo and Florida State are the only two teams on the Canes' schedule that have upper echelon QBs.

CMU and OU are the only conference games that make me nervous right now. OU on the road between our not-rival and our rival could be a trap game.

WMU still has what, the last for years' of top recruits? And their coach has exactly one less year head coaching experience than ours and by the time, will have nearly a year in. Not trying to add another to the "nervous" list but there's those facts.

I don't think we're so head and shoulders above any team right now and the Beckman tree has never seen value in getting a quick start, a large lead and holding it, not like NIU and WMU during their P5 runs anyhow.

It's a very open race I think.

It's an open race.WMU did lose the #5 pick in the NFL Draft(FBS all time leading receiver), 2nd Round pick OT, the Broncos all time leading passer, etc.

It seems so. We lost 4 (?) NFLers, best all-time RB and an offensive line that had been here long enough to get tenure. On D, we can't afford to let anyone graduate, ever. I propose fake IDs. They'll just be more physically mature Freshmen.

Well maybe we can score, can we stop the Canes though?

Most of the MAC games make me nervous, however, I think that the good news is that this may finally be the year the Rockets represent the West at Ford Field for the MACC game. However, I think the bad news is that this is Miami's year to win the MACC. Of course at this stage any predictions are just wild guesses (or hopes or prayers) .....still the way Miami improved and finished the season strong last year reminds me of how the 1999 Rocket team jelled and finished strong to set up the bitter sweet 2000 season.

Can we beat BG yet again? They had 12 in a row against us in the '50's and early 60's. I'd like to beat that streak.

It's rare to see a streak like we have or they had back in the 50s/60s in a huge rivalry series like the I-75...I think this team could make it 8 in a row next year but BGSUcks will be huuungry and they put up a hell of an effort against us this past season even though they were horrible.

Only two of Miami's six home games have confirmed times. The stadium is amazing.

With the covered seating, it's a 20-30 degree difference. Should be a great time.

The amount of crying over start times is nearly comical. Either go to the game or don't. Pretty simple.

I don't have any issue with start times, it's the days of the week that our games are being played on. College football is to be played on Saturdays. Period!!
