Nice to see a more marquee FCS game get on national tv, even if a week earlier.

No suprise with the 6pm on ESPN3 for JMU at ECU. Exactly the same as ECU's openers the past several seasons.

We booked hotel rooms last December! I lived in Greenville for about 6 years and have been to about a dozen ECU games, first time going there to root against them.

Those getting rooms, be careful, there are some not so inviting areas in Greenville. Bill, since you lived there, you might have some suggestions for the rest of us.

I would appreciate some inside knowledge as well Bill. We have not booked a room yet.

I will preface this by saying I haven't lived in Greenville since 2004 but we're staying at the Holiday Inn 203 SW Greenville Blvd. Others I would happily stay at would be the Hilton, Best Western Plus, or Hampton Inn. I picked the HI because they have 2 bedroom suites.

We have reservations in Wilson as it was somewhat cheaper and not to far a drive to Greenville. Will probably drive down Saturday AM with the wife and younger daughter (2015) and meet up with the older daughter (2010) and her husband and head to the game to start ROOTIN!!

Just booked Microtel on Hotels.com. Flying in to Raleigh/Durham Saturday morning so should get to Greenville well before noon.

Some poster have mentioned that JMU's athletic dept. has expressed a belief that App State will regret jumping to 1A. Is this part of App State regretting a move to 1A? After playing Miami Hurricanes in Boone, this has to be almost as disappointing.
