Don't care much about the NHL, but playoff hockey is great.

Rooting for the Preds as I have tons of friends from college that are fans.

Is Nashville the eastern-most Western Division team? It seems kind of strange to see a Nashville-Pittsburgh match-up, although I do understand that most hockey teams are in the east or north.

GO PREDS!

Also, 2 angles I am going for here....

1) would love to see a new team win one, reminds me of how I felt when the Canes got theirs.

2) Laviolette (sp?) was our coach when we won it, so I want to see him do well.

Hopefully the Preds can do what the Titans couldn't many years ago and bring a championship to music city.

If this goes to game 6, the Stanley Cup final will happen in Nashville during CMA Fest.

Downtown would be nuts.

Is it just me or does it seem like Predator fans have popped up out of no where in the past few weeks?

Joining the bandwagon on this one. As a Flyers fan, I can't stand the Penguins, so naturally I want the Predators to win. But it's not looking good as of now.

Absolutely without a doubt. I don't even understand what icing is. First time I've ever really watched the NHL.

Its better in person for sure.

That said, the playoffs are always good to watch because unlike the NBA, the teams play hard every game.

agree to all the above....went to a number of Blues games when I was a kid....it's one of the few things I miss about living StL....

it doesn't get much better than playoff hockey....

the puck is like raw meat amongst a pack o' wolves....

I actually played as a kid and enjoy the sport well enough, just not really emotionally invested without a team in Atlanta and only went to a few Preds games while living in Murfreesboro.

WOW

From 3-0 Pens

to 3-3

to 5-3 Pens via one empty netter....

I thought the Preds had them on the edge when they tied it...

But I still question that call of no goal on the Preds first scoring chance... that looked like some home cooking to get that overturned.

I'm not a hockey fan, but I didn't even know the Preds existed until the past couple of weeks.

I still haven't seen an angle that confirmed he lifted his skate for that overturned goal
