Looks like he had a good freshman year. 6'8 210 and shoots deep. Led team in scoring in conference play.

He was a 3 star recruit by 247 sports and was offered by Va. Tech, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Oklahoma State and ECU out of high school. Hopefully he can be a star with the coaching talent that's now here.

The staff can now get a graduate WF or a graduate tweener 3/4 or tallish graduate WG to finish it off. There's only 1 more grant to give now.

Good job by the new staff to get things in order in a hurry! This staff has brought in Estime, Gary, Sallah, Kalina and now Cylla already in the short time they've been here. Good academic guys that can play and have size. Things are looking really good long term.

Starting to get a better feeling about this change. Can't wait to see what this team looks like on the floor!

There aren't many of those still out there and available right now. But there are a few pretty interesting ones - including one leaving Kansas.

Dwight Coleby says ‘being able to attend KU was a privilege’

Just saying....

RE: Transfer
McGrath has definitely added size to the roster.

RE: Transfer
He had a big freshman campaign, but "seemed to fall out of favor in the season’s second half. His 7.1 points per game only ranked seventh on the Owls. The 3.3 rebounds averaged averaged by the 6-foot-7 Cylla were fourth best."

Sitting a year and working with this staff should be great for him. He seems to have a lot of potential.

RE: Transfer
He led their team late in the year against MTSU and that great defense of theirs. When you can score against quality, it says something. His size and handles for his size are intriguing for sure. And, he had big time offers at one time. We shall see in a couple of years. He will need to get his assist/TO ratio and 3 ball % where it needs to be, but he has time.
