UT baseball 2018 and beyond
The program is at a crossroads

If UT is going to commit dollars to a new facility then dollars need to be committed to a new coaching staff that can make the program competitive

AJ Sagar comes to mind. MLB cred and coaching experience. Would he leave the Tigers?

If the staff is not going to improve drop the sport and switch to lacrosse

A.J. Sager would not leave The Tigers. NCAA Baseball Coaches typically don't make a ton of money, especially compared to FB Coaches. I don't have any idea how many dollars are allocated for UT Baseball, but, I don't imagine it would be enough to even make a dent in The Glass Bowl continued renovations.

+1 on dropping and going another direction. Baseball has always been an underperforming but high maintenance sport IYAM. Totally against any money to bring them back to main campus. Lacrosse is a good move in light of the growing interest and it's move to an official OHSAA status.
Might be a MAC decision worth making.
