RE: The thoughts of Broncos front office on Paxton Lynch...
This is what I don't understand. The Broncos drafted Lynch knowing he was, at least, one year away. Now, fans are clammoring because he didn't secure the spot in year one. I'd expect him to earn more time this season and then be the starter next year. If he does tgat, then he'd be right on schedule.

Remember,
Denver nuggets drafted Chris Jackson, knowing he didn't have point guard skills, then traded him because he didn't have point guard skills.

The issue is not the Oline...The issue is the coach feeling Lynch was not the best QB.

Lynch needs to beat out the other guys...Honestly at this point it doesn't matter where he was drafted or how much he is getting paid.

I think they clearly do, They spent most of the off season upgrading it.

I doubt its a finished product week 1, but they have clearly added talent to the OL.

Trevor Siemien is a game manager. Period end of story. You have to at least see what you have in Lynch, the reason they finished the season 1-4 last year is that teams aren't afraid of siemien beating them deep so they're loading up on short throws.

If that is the case I guess that tells you their thoughts of Lynch last year...

Arm talent is not the most important aspect of being and NFL QB.

I agree. I'm sure they didn't want PL to get killed last year. Obviously he didn't know the pro game well enough to overcome a poor O line. With an upgraded line, I'm not sure what they have to lose by putting him out there. They missed the playoffs last year and it's not like Siemien is Joe Montana. I don't know how anyone would know what Paxton can or can't do (from a fan perspective) at this point since he's barely played.

I'm not sure that Lynch is a good QB or even a competent NFL QB. But I have watched enough Siemien to know what he is, and that is a less good version of Alex Smith. He's not the guy you turn the keys over to for the next 15 years so you have to see you have in Lynch to know if you need to keep looking or try to develop Lynch

Yep. I think they thought they had a playoff bound team with a game manager last year and that didn't work out. No point at all in repeating last season. Throw Paxton in there this season, if he fails, then you know you need a QB.

Well, Pax would be a good back up to Dax, and would look good in a cowboy uniform.
Just sayin,

I'd rather Paxton get a chance to have his own team

Dak has that spot locked down in Dallas. He is only going to get better.

I want to see Paxton be the Broncos QB when the two play each other. He's a Bronco. 04-rock
