After winning the Men's Division I Hockey Championship, their Men's Lacrosse team lost in the National Semifinals. Granted they do not have a football team, but how do they find that kind of national success, and Toledo can not get a whiff in any sport.
Schools that play Division I:
60 Men's Hockey
35 Women's Hockey
61 Men's Lacrosse
92 Women's Lacrosse
Versus:
125 Football
351 Men's & Women's Basketball

Denver is a private, preppy type of school that would easily attract east coast kids who play lacrosse. To some extent a similar situation with hockey, where other smaller private schools (Yale, Providence and Union) won recent titles.
