UTSA - CUSA round 3
I was assuming we throw Braley at UTSA today. However, maybe we should save him for Charlotte. Prob a better chance of beating UTSA than Charlotte, without Braley.

If we lose to UTSA today, or win today and lose the first game to Charlotte, it doesn't make a bit of difference. We are hosting regardless.

But if we can beat UTSA and then Charlotte the first game.....Charlotte's pitching may be watered down enough for us to out hit them in the semi-championship game. Then we have Colt back in the Champ game, throwing for a potential National seed.

So, who the heck is pitching today?

Well...if we save Braley and we make UTSA's pitcher look like Nolan Ryan (because that's what USM historically does in any sport) and we lose....then we've saved Braley for nothing and that's the ultimate TTT! I like our matchup vs. Charlotte regardless of who we throw. They have good pitching but they are not a very good hitting team statistically. We're better at hitting than we are pitching so I like our chances.

^absolutely. One game at a time. Worry about who we'll pitch tomorrow. I wanna see our bats explode and get some energy back into the dugout.

Braley already announced as today's starter. Let's just win today then see what happens.

Nolan Trabanino.

Has a 1.59 WHIP, but Cox said last week that "he's a guy you'll see on the 1st or 2nd all-CUSA team".

Leaving a lot of runners on the bases today. Need to be smart. Recognize the hitters count. Could have been bases loaded with a pitcher that is starting to miss the plate.

Ball was in the dirt and didn't get far enough away. Playing aggressive. I like it. The sleeping giant is awake.

I know we've had one out in each inning due to some aggressive base running attempts..
