Apparently the #1 TE in the country goes to tiny Essexville-Garber HS. Unfortuantely he is no longer a little secret, and de-committed.

He isn't the #1 TE in the country. I don't know where they get that from. He might have some testing scores that are good, but if he was the #1 TE in the country, Alabama and Ohio State would have offered already

He was the #1 rated TE based on some raw athletic numbers at a NIKE camp. While there were some impressive recruits there including Van Sumeren, it was far from a who's who of top 2018 recruits.
