Very difficult.

If none of these guys are going to the NBA... my top 5 are (in no particular order)

Jalen Adams (UCONN)
BJ Taylor (UCF)
Rob Gray (Houston)
Kentrell Barkley (ECU)
Shake Milton (SMU)

All three will be in the conversation.

Gary Clark

You would think a Wichita player would be on there (probably Shamet/McDuffie) but haven't seen them enough to comment intelligently on their games.

The biggest strength to WSU is a weakness to the individual awards. Scoring is balanced.

81 ppg with no player higher than 11.5 per game. McDuffie, Shamet, Willis, Morris and Frankamp all between 9-11 ppg.

RE: Make An All-AAC basketball team
Just going on some advanced stats, here are the leading returning players:

Win Shares:
1. Jacob Evans 6.0
2. Shake Milton 5.9
3. Gary Clark 5.8
4. Landry Shamet 5.4
5. Rob Gray 5.3
5. Markis McDuffie 5.3

Box +/-
1. Gary Clark 11.2
2. Jacob Evans 10.7
3. Landry Shamet 9.7
4. Markis McDuffie 9.5
5. Jarrey Foster 9.0

Offensive Rating
1. Landry Shamet 132.1
2. Gary Clark 126.9
3. Jacob Evans 126.6
4. Jarrey Foster 125.6
5. Shake Milton 122.4

Defensive Rating
1. Markis McDuffie 89.1
2. AJ Davis 91.7
3. Gary Clark 91.9
4. Zach Brown 93.5
5. Kyle Washington 93.8 (LOL!!)

Obviously not all schedules are created equally and some players will have an offensive rating boosted by lower usage (vice verse for guys like Rob Gray and Jalen Adams), but I think these stats give a good indication of some guys to watch...

Also, the WSU guys were able to get those stats by playing a really weak conference schedule.

Most underrated player in the American, IMO. Mostly because he plays for a terrible coach and on an awful team.

Kentrell Barkley
6'5" 205lbs
13.2 PTS, 7.6 REBS, 2.6 AST, 0.5 BLK
