Charleston saved Ober for later and got crushed, 9-0, by Delaware in the tournament opener.

Assume the Tribe/Elon loser will face Ober in the nightcap elimination game. Tribe needs this opening win.

Game pushed to 10 AM tomorrow.

Tribe very shaky early, down 2-0 into bottom of 3rd. Powers with a lot of pitches, 33 in first inning alone, but got through 3 up 3 down in 3rd, and seems a little more energized. Tribe hitting needs to get going and swing the momentum.

Elon had only turned 29 double plays all year. They've turned 3 today and it's only the 4th inning. They've also thrown out 2 runners at the plate.

Luck is a bit of a factor today. Have to think you guys will have a big inning soon. Your bats are too strong to expect otherwise.

Impressive 5-2 win after trailing by two early. Raquet--double, triple, 3 rbis...not bad for Tribe freshman
and 2nd team All-CAA. Powers hurled great seven innings...got better as game went on and gave us valuable innings too.

Great. Now we're in the winners bracket. Need to stay there. If Raquette or Sheehan can shut the Seahawks down we have a legit shot at this thing. We need to have games pile up due to weather making losers bracket teams needing to play two games or more in a day to get to the end. Staying fresh is the key
