Some lawsuits are just ridiculous and this certainly is one. (Please Judge, I was stupid and should get my money back.)

Its an interesting theory. That parties are committing fraud by pretending to have a fair process?

They might have a basis. The really hard part is proving that it would have changed the result. So you can't prove damages.

I think they do. Its misrepresentation. How many people would have given money had they known it was virtually impossible to win---not because he didnt have the votes, but because the process was rigged.

Haven't party leaders in both parties always tried to maneuver to come out at the end with the candidate they think gives them the best chance to beat the other party? Sometimes they pull it off, sometimes they don't. But that's not fraud. That's just the process. It's pretty much a definition of politics.
