They have every right to walk out. But if an employer chooses not to hire them due to this, they can only blame themselves.

I'd rather they leave than ruin the day for the others in attendance. Could have been worse.

You don't have to respect them, but you don't get to discriminate against them, by law.

Discrimination against them because they are aholes is perfectly legal. Lol
Calling them that is also legal. Amazingly, thinking it is also legal.

Hyperbolic much? If you ever wondered why no one here takes you seriously just refer back to statements like that one.

Apparently first amendment rights are only valid if you agree with conservative dogma.

You don't understand the First Amendment or you don't understand the post you quoted.

Especially since they would not be hired for their behavior, not their beliefs. If you would walk out of your commencement because of Pence would you walk out f a vendor meeting because the other company is owned by a trump voter.

Good for them!
why is this "good"? I would NEVER walk out on any speaker. I've had to sit through 2 Democrat speakers, one of which I despised. I at least had the common decency to show a little respect. I guess the Catholics stopped teaching that.

^^^This.

I know that if Oblunder was speaking I wouldn't have gone to the ceremony. I don't think I've listened to as much as 10 minutes of any of his blather in his eight years in office. I just can't stand the man.

So if there were people that left because of Pence well, ho hum, who cares.

Didn't this board commend ND for protesting Obama as a guest speaker 8-ish years ago?
