He was making a hurculean effort and your catcher did a good job not letting some of the unruly pitches get by him.

May have killed Coastal's chances of an at-large bid, unfortunately. They finished the year with a 15-11 OOC record, with the best win being against #83 Winthrop in OOC.

Plus, Coastal's RPI just fell to 60 after the loss to Texas State.

I've seen that HBP call like 5 times now this year. And I think it's ridiculous.

I disagree with the change in the rule, but it was called by the rulebook. It's the rule that is wrong, not the umpire.

Of the three errors. Only one led to a run, but that same error wouldn't have happened without the God awful call at first.

I didn't know what the rule was. I thought it was if you were in the batter's box and got hit, you get the base. But, not any more. I don't like the new rule either, but it was the right call as it stands.

The bottom line is we just didn't play good enough today. We had our chances and didn't take care of business. TXST was the better team and played to win.

Mike Grace is still umping? I remember him calling several of my legion games when I was in HS.
