I don't think Trump intentionally pissed them off. Don't think he understood what he was doing. He's just in way over his head.

Trump is about to go over there and stand in Jerusalem and publicly state its the eternal capitol of Israel.

Not even the mighty United States of America has been willing to publicly recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel since its return in 1948, but Trump has already said this is going to happen when he goes over there.
