Please Mr. Trump, do the right thing: step down. Cut a deal so you can avoid charges, and step down.

Oh I think there's plenty of accurate things about Trump's personality and flaws in there, but Trump's greatest strength is the ability to manipulate people to get what he wants. What he's done is brilliant. He's got the left so blindly angry at him that they are not even attempting to remain consistent on anything. Trump could come out tomorrow and say he supports planned parenthood and they'd all take the opposite stance just because Trump supported it. On the other side he's got his supporters to at this point only believe the things that come either directly from him or from a source he approves of. Anything even remotely critical of him is now "fake news" and there's probably no amount of evidence that could change their opinions because they'll believe it was all made up by people out to get him. So he's got the left making complete arses out of themselves and the right willing to not just ignore things he does wrong but believe they are a conspiracy made up by the left. It's amazing to watch if you take a step back.

Under the law, Comey is required to immediately inform the Department of Justice of any attempt to obstruct justice by any person, even the President of the United States. Failure to do so would result in criminal charges against Comey. (18 USC 4 and 28 USC 1361) He would also, upon sufficient proof, lose his license to practice law.

So, either the memo doesnt exist, or Comey is going to jail.

Take your pick.

Now, about that memo.

So you think there was obstruction of justice?

Right now, there's not even a real memo.

If a real memo exists depicting exactly what the whores at WaPo says it says, then James Comey is going to prison.

So, James Comey will say there was no obstruction of justice. Because if James comey says otherwise, James Comey is going to prison.

I know someone that stated he needed to keep his yammer shut a week ago...he's ****** either way

The bottom line on Trump: people have given him everything he has. He just gets out of their way.

Trump's a northeastern RINO at best.
Pence is an Indiana conservative true believer.

I do get what you're saying Sica.

But it still doesn't sit right with me, regardless of the pragmatism, for him (Trump) being such a fraud and acting so un-presidential. I doubt that Pence would use a personal Twitter account.

I don't think he's at the controls of any single policy decisions, but he is working and manipulating both sides at a level that is beautiful to watch. He's so good at it that neither side realizes it, much like a truly great message board troll who is so good at it that people don't even realize he's doing it. If the left doesn't stop making mountains out of every single mole hill he creates (some I believe are intentional and some not) he's going to get a second term.

Stay tuned.

But I find it hilarious that the conts seem wanting to jail the guy reporting the possible crime(s) more than the one who actually may have done it. You can't make this stuff up. This is pretty fun watching the right twist themselves into knots trying to defend the indefensible. 03-lmfao

I suggest you follow the No Bull path and get out from in front of the careening train now before it's too late. This is not going to end well for orange ape.

I was lead to believe that regressives did not allow the word ape and a human be used in the same sentence.

How can you possible watch the TV interview where he inadvertently, knee-jerk admits that he was responsible for firing Comey, because Comey was investigating him, and conclude that is a master stroke of genius??? That was literally the only thing he couldn't say.

Step back from your own conspiracy theories for a moment and allow the possibility that Trump doesn't think he did anything worth being investigated for....

I'm not saying he did or didn't... I'm saying he is actually convinced 100% that he didn't.

If you were someone's boss and they were spending all sorts of resources on something that you KNEW to be 'untrue', despite your admonitions, wouldn't you fire that person? Of course you would.

You guys act like he fired someone because he was getting close... which makes no legal or logical sense whatsoever... and whatever you think of Trump, he's obviously not kept himself out of jail over the decades or been able to hide his Russia dealings from the FBI, CIA, Press and Democrats because he's 'stupid'....
and ignore the very real probability that he fired him because he felt (his opinion) he was either acting politically OR engaging in pointless investigations for other 'personal' reasons.

That sort of process which is BY FAR the most likely scenario has never once crossed any of your minds (at least not in public).

I agree. What Trump has been doing isn't brilliant as much as it is being in a bubble were he has always been able to do whatever he wants and cannot fathom any consequences for his actions.

You don't make comments like " I just grab them by the *****" unless you have grown up getting whatever you want for your entire life.

At this point, it's about country. We can't have a president who doesn't know the basics. What he did, reportedly to Israel with his handing over sensitive intel to the Russians, could have ramifications for years.

Right.

Comey won't because he's already out of office and they're not going to prosecute him for not "immediately" reporting trump's malfeasance even if he didn't.

And Trump will quit before he would ever be impeached. Another lie from him in that he never settles and always wins. 03-lol

If we were psychiatrists sitting around a room, trying to hypothesize why Trump might be so lax about confessing that he fired Comey, because Comey was investigating him, then I think your hypothesis makes perfect sense.

That could the exact truth of Trump's mindset on the matter: Trump thought that since the Russia investigation was "made-up", he was in the right to fire Comey for participating in it, and that's the end of it.

But that's not the end of it. To think so was a fatal mistake. What he did was illegal.
