Oops, Kynard did have a 24'3" In 2009. Could be a tie.

He wasn't in the high jump but his heights would have been competitive for 3rd. This kid has been jumping one year. Face it fellas, he's going to be hard to hold on to. He'll be picked up for track by a major player. B-Ball, F-Ball, jumping and with his size and speed, he could be a decathlete.

Anderson was 4th with 23-5.50 His jumps today look a little off, lower than his normal.

Dakari Carter had to withdraw from his attempt at a 4th 100m due to hamstring.

Great year by these Rocket Recruits.

Are you saying a college with track will try to get him to go there?
He has already signed a Letter Of Intent (LOI) to play football at Toledo. UT would have to grant his release for him to do that.
Also, he is a Rocket Football Legacy with his father being a former Rocket player.....

Who is his father? Trying to think of a former Rocket with last name of Mitchell and coming up with nothing. First thing I thought was Todd, but he played BB at Purdue.

Those legacy kids sure can jump. Shaun Joplin hit or was near 7 ft in the high and 24 in the long.

Having my choice, Mitchell would be a resurgence in the track program over football but if he can do both, even better. Still have to keep fingers crossed to keep. Perspective, in one year high school training, he jumped as far as an Olympic Silver Medalist (yeah, different event but still) did in high school.

Mitchell was on the schedule to represent Ohio in the Midwest Meet of Champions but he's not showing on the results, looks like he missed. Hope he's ok. His jumps would have easily put him in contention. It was won under 24' by a Louisville recruit.

Locally, Micham (Southview-100 hurdles) and Meese (Napoleon-discus) both won their events. Congrats to them!
