Northern Iowa has a very competent coach but their roster is depleted from the "glory years". Expect a slow, grinding game. You can win as long as you play defense. If you don't D it up, you'll likely lose.

We will always play D but teams shot almarmingly well from three against us in Canada.. Do they usually shoot the three well?
They are chuckers and floppers. They were terrible at the chucking part last year, thus their poor results. They also lost their top 2 chuckers, but not their top flopper.

They are a 3-ball team for sure. I barely followed Valley opponents' rosters before, I surely don't now. Historically they run the clock then drain the bomb, then hound you on D. They can beat nearly any team on the planet when they are clicking and they have the pieces. The last couple years they've been missing some pieces.

Ha! Just saw the bracket and if we beat N Iowa we will get the winner of Arizona and NC St, so we will get Arizona. The game will be on Thanksgiving at 3pm so the rest of the world will be watching the Cowboys.

#332 vs #333 Adjusted Tempo last year. Wonder if both teams will break 100.

Tulane goes 4-0 in Spain and is returning to N.O. today. Still waiting on release of OOC schedule.

Delaware State coming to Minges next season. #332 RPI! updated link.

Historically this what ECU does. Why change now?
Aresco and the conference need to step in. If the NBA can appoint a special assistant to help the Sixers, surely the AAC can appoint someone to run ECU Basketball. This schedule is a disgrace.
Sent from my VS986 using CSNbbs mobile app
Football has historically scheduled the toughest non-conference teams in the region (Miami, WVU, etc) and most of us clown on NC State for putting Gardner-Webb and Presbytstian College on their schedule, yet a large part of the fanbase seems completely happy with a basketball schedule that is an absolute embarrassment. You can say what you want about ECU being a 'football school' but someone must step up and change the culture of the basketball program.
I would double down on that, not only have we have traditionally scheduled one of the more difficult OOC's in football, we also do the same in baseball. Those two sports have been successful, yet hoops we take the opposite strategy.

Sure the Philly schools are great for temple but I love that they don’t stop there. They add wisconson, South Carolina and Georgia.
A few years ago temple whooped Kansas’s ass.
They are fearless in scheduling
Following John Chaney's model of playing anybody, anytime, anywhere.

It was released about 10 days ago but Tulane has:
LIU-BROOKLYN (#228)
SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA (#249)
Colorado State (#82) @Jamaica
Game 2 @Jamaica (either Winthrop/#97, Fordham/#202, or Northwestern State/#296)
MIAMI-OHIO (#275)
@Georgia State (#130)
ALCORN STATE (#273)
@North Carolina (#1)
SOUTHERN (#321)
Florida State @Tampa (#24)
NICHOLLS STATE (#301)
SOUTH ALABAMA (#240)
Mixed feelings about this. The good games are very good, but there's a lot of empty calories on this list, too. For UNC and FSU, the ratings are from the post-Dance national polls. For everybody else, it's the final Massey Composite rating.

Is Lebo now making Tulane's schedule too?
