All I can find is @ UNC, FSU in Tampa, and Iowa State in a tourney in the Junkanoo Jam. Game 2 will be either Central Michigan or SD State.
I'm excited for the season - don't know how good we'll be, but we have much bigger and better athletes on the team than we've had in 15 years.

Junkanoo Jam is a women's tourney

That's awesome. Should be a good cultural and bonding experience, plus the extra practice and game time.

Good for Tulane. How often can a team go on a foreign trip? We will need another one next summer but I don't think we will be able to.

Every 4 years. Haith should have used his last year and didn't

WSU avoids opening against Chaminade in the Maui Invitational and draws Cal to start.

Disappointing for WSU that the Maui field is weaker than usual...

I'd have to go compare. I'm not sure how much weaker it really is. Sometimes I think "dang, this field isn't as strong at the top" and then I remember WSU is the Top 5 team they got for it.

There's no blue-bloods (a lot of them are playing in the PK80), but WSU, Marquette, Notre Dame, Michigan, and VCU should all make the big dance. Obviously Chaminade is always in it so there's really only 2 ho-hum teams in Cal and LSU.

This is fair. It's still a damn good tournament to be in and the PAC 12 is still a strong enough basketball league that California will probably have some cred and win enough games against good competition to have a nice tournament resume and a chance to get in if they take advantage. LSU is less sure because their league after Kentucky isn't consistently good.

Tulane schedule now includes Colorado State. That makes UNC, FSU, and CSU.

Good add. Eustachy will put a decent team on the court.

Excellent point! The knee-jerk reaction when looking at this bracket is, "Damn! I Wish we had Duke, Kentucky, UNC, etc. in here." The reality is, we are the Duke/Kentucky/UNC in this tournament...

It's a great day to be a media darling!

It's a great day to be a Shocker!

If that's the case ECU would always have the toughest schedule in the country.

Might be true but a couple years ago we had ECU level scheduling. Slow and steady improvements all around since we got a real AD and president.
