I bet Amazon or Netflix picks it up---maybe with some agreement to lower costs. There are 3 common ways to reduce the cost of a season. One is for the stars to take less money per episode. Another is for the network to just buy fewer episodes. The third option is to do the same number of episodes, but have the scripts written where every star isnt in every episode. That allows them to pay each star for fewer episodes. I doubt that option 3 would work for this kind show.

Fewer episodes may work. British tv has always been that way.

But it's produced like Home Improvement, which can't even get syndication outside of the Hallmark channel.

Hey, longshots make it too. I think the success of Roseanne and the reintroduction of older shows on streaming services made the format desirable again.

Glad to see LMS is coming back. Sucks that Lucifer got cancelled though.

Saw the new season opener tonight and the show picked up right where it left off. Didn't shy away from politics but did so in a funny way and with a good message. One thing I'm not sure about is the new Mandy though. Seems like the new actress is trying to be the previous Mandy.

She was AWFUL annoying generally not a good pick. I disliked her so much, I finally turned it off.

She needs to be herself. Overall I enjoyed the show and liked it's message that even though we have our differences, in the end, we're all in this together.

I recorded all the episode have not watched yet. I hope it's as good as you guys say it is.
