I am not sure whether this new policy is due to real security concerns, or the fact that alcohol sales aren't as good as the LB wishes. Of all the improvements the LB could make, THIS is not the thing to do.

We need more fans and less experts.

For those of us who live in NFL cities, we've been doing this for about 5 years.

DGAF, still going to bring in our alcohol because we don't use bags.

Though the lines will be bad, for sure.

It is incredibly common. I've been to NFL stadiums that use this policy. I've been to concert venues that do this. Hell, the amphitheater in Orange Beach, AL has this policy. It's not uncommon and people will adapt.

But, Memphis people will complain.

Smart people have been putting their alcohol in zip lock bags for years and stowing them in their britches.

There's a good enough reason for this - just don't bump me from my seat.

I heard that hand bags must be clear. What else?

I really don't give a darn what NFL cities do. I live in Memphis and I don't like it. I LOVE my Tiger blue purses and bags. And don't even bring up that godforsaken state of Alabama.

You should be getting a letter with your ticket renewal information that explains the details of what kind of bag you may bring into the Liberty Bowl. In a nutshell, it has to either be clear plastic or a gallon plastic baggy. No more purses, except for tiny clutches.
