RE: Berry Tramel: Would the Big Ten welcome OU?
@ChuckCarltonDMN
Industry sources indicate Big 12 is expected to announce next week revenue distribution of $33M-34M per school, up from $30.4M last year.

Neither option is going to be attractive to them. They have made it clear that the PAC is not desirable to them, largely for travel reasons (on all their return trips from away games they would lose one or two hours due to time zones). And, in this scenario, they would have to swallow their huge ego to follow their rivals to the SEC. That might be a bitter pill.
Actually, the reason Texas didn't goto the PAC-12 in the first place is that the PAC-12 wouldn't have allowed the Longhorn Network deal that Texas was negotiating with ESPN. They wanted the one-school network, and ESPN wanted to try it. So, ESPN overpaid for that one-school network, and that ultimately kept the Big-12 together. When Texas A&M and Missouri went to the SEC, there was another opportunity, however again the PAC-12 wasn't willing to accept the Longhorn Network.
If the PAC-12 was willing to accept the Longhorn Network, Texas would be part of the PAC-12 now, along with Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech.
That is pretty much right and why Texas probably won't be leaving the B12.

It is going to take OU agreeing to leave for Texas to want to leave the big 12.
