So I think this is the first kid of a Tiger I actually watched in person play for the Tigers. I guess I'm in that older gentlemen club.

If you were watching in the late 80s, you would have seen sam craft's dad play. I'm sure there are others, but that's the only one that came to mind.

The best i remember about danton barto is being a live motor/tackling machine.

It is really cool seeing him follow in his father's footsteps. It makes me feel old, however, because I remember quite plainly watching the elder Barto.

That was damon young i think. I remember them being similar type hitters though.

Damon young made the very last tackle and kept the ole miss guy just outside the cone on the goalline to win the game for the tigers.

I see Damon every once in a while around memphis or at a tigers game, he's a really cool guy.

I could be wrong, but i think that ole miss game was in 1987. Danton barto played from 1990-93.
