Not to mention he was the leader of a team that lost a group stage game to Iran. So STFU. If Lalas cared more, then maybe he couldve kept John Harkes' dingaling out of Eric Wynalda's wife.

Rough way to go out of your first captaincy.

On the flip side, Rodgers decides to start an 18 year old center back against Neymar, Mbappe, and Cavani and unsurprisingly concedes 3 goals in the first half. My only hope for the Bhoys is them somehow beating Anderlecht home and home and making it into the EL.

Tulsa on the men's side and Cincinnati on the women's side are both very close to being ranked, and UConn and USF on both are very well positioned as well. Could be a good year for AAC soccer.

Memphis women's is ranked.

It's going to be really interesting to see how the League handle the Mane suspension. It was clearly unintentional, but incredibly reckless, however, Ederson brought his head down, and knew what he was getting into coming that far out of the box against a charging player...and Man City will be out their #1 keeper for a long while if that broke his jaw (which I don't know how in the hell it wouldn't have).

50/50 ball, never a red.

What's the rule on his suspension? Our next game is in the UCL, does he miss that and 1 PL game? Or 2 PL games?

Big deal... Great win!!. We lost 3-1 on some weak crap PKs given at Stanford in the second half. SMU is starting to breathe the refined air they used to live in back in the 90's when Schellas was killing it and my dumb ass walked on to a team with 4 USMNT players on it. Plus, or girls team is getting back to that area too. Good for the league to get growth.

Now if the NCAA can just go to a 10 month schedule, that would be great.

Players earn some scorn for that '98 debacle, but that was pure Sampson trash. Outside of the '95 Copa, never could manage his way out of a wet paper bag. Yet, he did well managing down in central America later.

Nah, that team was doomed even if Alex Fergueson was coaching it the moment John Harkes banged Wynalda's wife. Basically, killed team chemistry and took out our best player and captain.

Very good kit...I'm currently taking a deep dive in the worst 90's jerseys of all time. Man, there were some real screamers in the lower divisions of the League in England. I don't know how Huddersfield fans didn't go blind 03-lmfao

Not to mention that team wasn't particularly amazing to begin with.

The Current Itineration would run circles around the 98 team, but only win 1-0 because Arena thinks the National Team is actually his own little MLS All Star team.

There were a lot of players on the back end of their careers on that team and a few players that were to young to fully contribute.

16 minutes in and neither Spurs nor Dortmund have an interest in playing defense.

3 shots in total and 3 goals...LOL

After Yarmolenko's goal, our backline looked great. Dortmund couldve scored 4 or 5 in that half.

BTW, I still wish we signed Yarmolenko. We tried for like 5 years.
