I know we talk about MBB/Baseball but I was thinking we should have a spot for WBB and other sports that are sponsored by the WAC. Thoughts?

There is no rule that says you have to solely talk about MBB and Baseball. However I do not believe that we need a separate board for all the other WAC Sports.

I would like to hear other posters opinions on this.

I don't think there is enough activity on this board to segment sports discussions into individual boards. We really only talk about basketball most of the year, conference expansion, stupid threads about hypothetical football realignments, and the occasional baseball thread. If there is an interest in other sports start a thread. If there is enough interest by others, it will stay on the first page of this board. IMHO

Enjoy it while it lasts. Once GCU is eligible for postseason in M/W Soccer, Voleyball, M/W Golf, M/W Basketball, M/W Tennis, Softball, & Baseball, regular season points earned won't be averaged with zeros.

Given GCU's strength across several of those sports, along with continued dominance in M/W I&O Track and Field, I expect Lopes will be challenging for the Cup immediately next year.

I concur with many of the above. Unless we start having a ton of active topics about other sports there's really not a need for a separate spot.

I could see interest in Soccer, WBB and maybe WVB, but others would likely not generate enough for separate area.

Just a question I had. No worries either way, what got me thinking about it was the post about UMKC winning tennis and it got quickly swallowed up by MBB which isn't a problem at all. Anyways carry on.
