Graduation in the Glass Bowl at the UofToledo. Got to give cred to the local, they captured it well with the photos, yes?

Biggest drawback was the almost 4 hr event, noticed that most of the students and many of the crowd in stands were gone before it ended

since it was held in the Glass Bowl, sounds like it was also a practice run for a weekday football game on ESPN2.

Anybody know what the speech by Brennan was about?

Got it. Was curious if she went political or not. I knew her dad and brother, but never met her. Her dad was a very interesting man - owner of Brennan Industrial Trucks (forklift business). Gave me some of his perspectives on a number of things that I have never forgotten - basically that you are what you learn when you are young, and it is difficult to change much as you grow older - although it is not impossible. You just need to want to make changes in your core values.

Also worked with her brother - also named Jim - and was his mentor/supervisor for about 6 months. Pretty quiet most of the time, but man was he ever competitive and fiery when you ticked him off. He almost got in a fight with Dave Purdy (former OSU quarterback) out at a client's business playing some pick-up basketball on some 8 foot rims in the factory. I was good friends with the factory owner's son and we were able to stop it before it came to blows. Was pretty impressed that he was not backing down to anyone.

Smart move naming Christine Brennan to the Board as a non-voting national member; need all the insight we can get to improve our national image
