Baseball tournament ticket prices
I was looking at the MGM Biloxi website and from what I could see tickets are as follows:

All tournament pass: $165
Day pass for 1 day: $35
Championship game: $16

https://www.ticketfly.com/event/1464800-...ss-biloxi/

Surely I'm missing something for them to charge $35 for the day as most "casual" fans aren't going to go all day OR fork out $35 for a ticket. I realize the ticket is good for all day but still seems steep.

Also, it has Thursday game times as 11:30, 2:00, 5:30 and 8:00 pm

$35 is ridiculous. I went to the Minute Maid tournament and saw Ole Miss-TT, Baylor-LSU, and A&M vs. TCU for $10. Tickets should be no more than that.

RE: Baseball tournament ticket prices
I "think" last year at USM that general admission/bleacher seats were $10 per session so 2 game for $10 and $20 for the day as they cleared the stadium after game 2 on Wednesday and Thursday as well as after the 2nd game Saturday since Rice and La Tech played their "if necessary" game.

So last year I paid $120 for my family of 3 to go to USM's 4 games. This same this year would be $363...... NOT HAPPENING!

At those prices, they should include a couple of hotdogs/hamburgers, a beverage and 25 Biloxi Bucks for the casino.

I'm still thinking there's no way they are charging $35 a day if you are just going to 1 game each day Wednesday and Thursday. If so though this will definitely be the only year there because it'll be the worst attended tournament in CUSA history.

I am guessing session passes go first, trying to get fans to spend more for the best seats. Single game tickets will be the remaining seats. My high roller friend is expecting Beau Rivage to comp her tickets, too.

RE: Baseball tournament ticket prices
I complained about ticket prices a couple weeks ago.

$165 all session is a joke. Pretty much unaffordable for a college student like myself. Last year's all session was $65.

I still have my CUSA lanyard from the 2016 tournament. Maybe the people taking up tickets won't notice that it's from last year. Ha.

It appears the tickefly link has reworded the site. It now says "2 sessions pass" for $35. As ese84 stated above I'm going with that's the price for an all day pass. I feel like there will be a 1 session pass for $10-$20 closer to tournament time if not the day of the tourney games. I'm planning on calling this week to get exact details

RE: Baseball tournament ticket prices
I called the MGM ticket office this morning and they said individual game tickets would be $16 but that they wouldn't go on sale until the week of the tournament. A little more than previous years but still a lot better than the $35 listed on the website for "2 sessions pass". I "feel like" the $16 is for a session (games 1/2 or 3/4 the first 2 days) as well as Saturday while Friday and Sunday will be $16 for each day. Also, "assuming" the $35 tickets are probably box/reserved seats closer to home plate/dugouts. Regardless....things are a lot better than initially thought from my perspective.

I just took time off from work to go to the tournament. I really hope my Roadrunners don't get knocked out right away. I plan on staying at the Golden Nugget. I'll book my room in the next day or so unless one of you have better advise.
