RE: New Adds to AAC
I'm a Gonzaga alum. What are you talking about Gonzaga would love to be in the AAC? Few talked about long term coast to coast with the Big East.

- Army - 3-time football national champion ('44, '45, '46)
- BYU 1984 football national championship
- Boise St. BCS and NY6 wins
- 4 Heisman winners (Army x3, BYU x1)
- UNLV 1990 NCAAB national championship
- 5 Final Four appearances (UNLV x 4, Gonzaga x1)
- 11 Elite 8 (UNLV x5, Zags x3, BYU x3)
- 27 Sweet 16 (UNLV x10, Zags x8, BYU x7, SDSU x2)
- 91 NCAA appearances (BYU x29, UNLV x20, Zags X20, SDSU x11, Boise x7, Air Force x4)

I believe Army was World Champion in '45 COGS

New Adds to AAC
The AAC needs two p5 teams to be p6...
Nebraska...
And
Arkansas...
Recruiting would get much better for both teams
How we get them here is for you posters to figure out...
Good luck...
And Temple needs a frickin new stadium already, so cut the red tape and get it done...

The new Western 3 would be for Football and Men's Basketball only, Army for Football only. I know you'll say travel costs, but I don't buy that it would be much added expense. It costs about the same to fly most places in the US, and due to our conference spread already, we are flying anyway most games. The AAC handles 15 in Basketball, so could we. Football would divide East/West with UConn, Temple, Navy, Army, ECU, UCF, USF and UC in East. SDSU, Boise, BYU, SMU, Houston, Tulsa, Tulane and Memphis in West. Then when/if Big 12 chooses 2-4 for replacements we would still have a viable conference without panic adds. Also, I believe ESPN would pay for these additions. Hopefully enough to entice BYU/Army. And it's a P6 type lineup in the meantime. Not to mention it gives two extra time zones for games on TV.

Well, because SDSU, BYU and Boise would all say no.

You guys are the bestest =)

I promise you'd have the biggest AAC advocate and P6 promoter if NIU was ever blessed with the invite, although from what I hear the visit to the ChiTown Showdown by AAC top brass did not go as well as our AD had planned
