No 80 point games...what's with that?

Our toughest opponent of the season is ECU but wow, a 7 point favorite on the road at an FBS team and 72% chance of winning? I'll be shocked if we go undefeated. If we do, we're probably going to repeat as back to back champs.

Agree. No way I will be "shocked" if we go undefeated. Our toughest conference games are at home. We should be hosting playoff games. Though no guarantee we will win just because we are at home, but I like our chances strongly of going undefeated at BFS again. Whether we go undefeated or not in my eyes boils down to whether the Good Guys get it done in the opener in eastern NC...and, I think we will.

injuries. that is always the derailer of special seasons.

if we stay healthy, we'll be the best team in FCS without a doubt.

I know hindsight is 50/50, but this schedule looks far easier than last years.
FBS game is winnable.
Wish the rest of OOC was better. As usual.
Two challenging conference road games, but very winnable.
Home conference games are legit. All very good opponents. Actually looking forward to those games.
Facing a lot of teams with new coaching staffs. Going to be interesting to see these teams evolution. Delaware will probably be better. Villanova just a little worse (but not much). Richmond... I expect them to be like Chattanooga. All talk and can't win when it matters.
The team I'm very nervous about is Maine. They are no joke. They have the same philosophy and I expect that game to go down to the wire.
Heart says we go undefeated. My head says 9-2 at the absolute worst.
If there's any JMU team that could repeat... it's this one.

Yes, according to Massey. They predict a 38-31 JMU win. This is all based on momentum from last year though and all computer based. It doesn't take into account roster changes, coaching changes, injuries in the pre-season, extra motivation in a home opener and extra motivation for the FBS team being told they could lose to this FCS team.

I'm hoping we start a NDSU-like string of FBS games were they know they're getting a fight but we still show up and punch them in the mouths anyways and ruin their party.

Gotcha. I didn't realize you were talking Massey has us a 7 point favorite. Thought you meant in Vegas, or gambling sites.

If the defense can continue the level of play it achieved post-Richmond game last year, we will win it all. We have 4 potential All-Americans on offense: Schor (likely), Stinnie (likely), Kloosterman and Marshall.

Our offensive line is terrific and very dependable. Our QB could play his way into being drafted a year from now.

Lots to be jacked up about. August-September can't get here fast enough.
